Templates are the basis of most tasks in CSV Improved. A template contains a set of preferences to be followed during an import or an export. Instead of having to choose import or export settings every time an import or an export is done, the settings can be saved in a template.

Each template consists of 2 sections. The first are the template settings and second are the template fields. The settings define how CSV Improved should import or export and the template fields define what should be imported or exported.
