Read this first and make sure you checked all steps: csvimproved.com/support/getting-started

Don't just say it doesn't work but describe in detail what is happening and add the following information:
* Version of the extension you are using
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number)
* Sample of the file being imported
* A copy of the template you are using. Use the maintenance menu to create a backup of your template
* Collected debug information

Without this information you won't get a useful answer. If no debug log is attached, you will get a request to post it.

Where to get the debug information?

A tutorial ( csvimproved.com/support/questions-and-answers/390-how-to-collect-debug-information ) has been written to help you collect your debug information.

gpessoa created the topic: multi replace plugin add before/ after
Hi RolandD,
In multi replace plugin, is that possible to add “text” to the beginning and the end of a text?
Example:
In “VM product_desc” I want to use “combine” to add a few “Tabs”
To do that I need to add at the beginning the first tab “{tab=my tab}” and close it at the end “{ /tabs}”
I only find “Add before value, Add after value” but I don’t know those values, as there are many possibilities!
Thanks in advanced

Hello,

I only find “Add before value, Add after value” but I don’t know those values, as there are many possibilities!

The value here means the value of the field in import or export. You don't need to know them. All you need to do is create a rule with Add before value operation and in Value field set {tab=my tab}. Create another operation for Add after value and save value field as { /tabs}. Apply this rule on product_desc field. You can take a look at CSVI Multi replace plugin document where these operations are explained with examples.

Kind regards,

Tharuna
