Looking for a useful answer?

Read this first and make sure you checked all steps: www.csvimproved.com/frequently-asked-questions/635-troubleshooting-import-errors

Don't just say it doesn't work but describe in detail what is happening and add the following information:
* VirtueMart version
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number)
* Sample of the file being imported
* Collected debug information

Without this information you won't get a useful answer. If no debug log is attached, you will get a request to post it.

Where to get the debug information?

A tutorial ( www.csvimproved.com/frequently-asked-questions/390-how-to-collect-debug-information ) has been written to help you collect your debug information.

GSN created the topic: Skipped Data Exists
* VirtueMart version = 2.6.18
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number) = 5.21.2
* Sample of the file being imported = See Attachment
* Collected debug information = See Attachment

Please assist. I am getting this error
Total Result Status
2274 Notice Skipped

So I already have these product sku's in the database already but I have made some changes in other fields for those same sku's. Those changes won't show because the update is being skipped. I read a previous article that said "This tells me you have set the option Overwrite Existing Data to No." WELL I looked everywhere and can't find where that setting is or how I can change it. I went to Components > CSVI PRO > Settings and did NOT find this option, also went to Import options:

File Fields Options Image Path Limit
Found nothing under these as well.

Hello,

* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number) = 5.21.2

You are anywhere not near to latest version, the current running version of CSVI is 6.6.4 and we don't support CSVI5 version anymore.

I read a previous article that said "This tells me you have set the option Overwrite Existing Data to No." WELL I looked everywhere and can't find where that setting is or how I can change it.I went to Components > CSVI PRO > Settings and did NOT find this option, also went to Import options:

Since development on CSVI5 version has been stopped completely, i am really not sure about the issue you are having. As much as i can see there is a history in CSVI 5 version where this issue was fixed.

My recommendation would be you update your extensions to latest version. There is a procedure to update from CSVI 5 to CSVI 6 version, follow the instructions and also make sure that you have good backup of the data before working on your upgrade.

Kind regards,

Tharuna
